Jonathan Erbe MC, LCMHC
Jonathan is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with many years’ experience in private practice helping people live their lives to the fullest.
As a high school counselor, he obtained a special understanding of young people and the daily challenges they face. He advised students and their parents regarding academics, career exploration & personal concerns.
He also worked with medical professionals in a large & busy ER, helping with all kinds of crisis situations including Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD) work.
With all of his experience, his first and greatest priority is to help people overcome the challenges they face so that they can reach their full potential. He values his relationships with others and uses what he has learned to help others move forward.
Jonathan has experience working with men of all ages who deal with same-sex attraction.
He has worked extensively with children and their parents who deal with ADD-related issues.
He has worked for many years helping people with addiction. In private practice, he also specialized in stress management, depression & Adjustment Issues, Family & Marital Issues, Cognitive Therapy, as well as Substance Abuse Assessment and Follow-up.
He has also worked extensively in grief counseling.
Jonathan has presented in business, and educational settings on stress management, drug abuse and have mediated teacher-student conflicts.
He has also taught college courses, including family dynamics, basic counseling techniques, study skills, and counseling issues for men.
Jonathan also has many years’ experience in Employee Assistance Counseling. Jonathan has performed organizational consultations, led supervisory training, and taught Conflict Resolution.
Jonathan holds a Masters Degree in Counseling from Arizona State University and is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in the State of Utah. Jonathan also has a great deal of experience working with LDS Social Services, Bishops and Stake Presidents, and has assisted many of their referrals in overcoming challenges and moving forward.
