Support Group For Mom's In All Walks of Life

Being a mom is a fulfilling yet demanding role that often comes with unique joys and struggles.

From the sleepless nights of newborn care to the juggling act of balancing work, family, and personal needs, every mom’s journey is filled with moments that can be rewarding and overwhelming.

We’ve created, MomSquad, a Support Group For Moms—to provide a safe, nurturing environment where moms can connect, learn, and grow.

Our Mom’s Support Group meets every Thursday at 10 am, offering a regular opportunity for moms to gather in person.

Whether you’re a first-time mom navigating the exciting yet challenging world of parenthood or a seasoned parent managing the daily complexities of raising a family, our group is open to all moms who seek understanding, empathy, and camaraderie.

Community

One of the key benefits of joining our Mom’s Support Group is the sense of community it fosters.

Motherhood can sometimes feel isolating, especially when faced with the pressures and expectations of modern parenting.

In Mom Squad, you’ll meet other moms on a similar journey, each with their own stories, triumphs, and challenges.

Building this sense of community can be incredibly empowering, reminding you that you’re not alone in your experiences and that support is always within reach.

Mom's Support Group Structure

Our support group for moms is structured to create meaningful opportunities for sharing and discussion. Each week, we explore different topics relevant to motherhood, such as:

1. Parenting Strategies

From gentle discipline techniques to effective communication with your children, our group discusses various approaches to parenting that promote positive relationships and healthy development.

2. Self-Care Practices

As moms, prioritizing self-care is essential to maintain our well-being. We share tips and strategies for self-care that fit into busy schedules and help moms recharge and rejuvenate.

Self-care is crucial to maintaining overall well-being and resilience in our daily lives.

It encompasses activities, practices, and habits prioritizing physical, mental, and emotional health.

Self-care allows us to recharge, reduce stress, and enhance our ability to cope with life’s challenges.

It is not a luxury but a necessity for nurturing a healthy relationship with ourselves and others.

When prioritizing self-care, we become better equipped to manage responsibilities, make sound decisions, and cultivate fulfilling relationships.

It’s like filling our cup so we have the energy and resources to give to others effectively.

Taking time for self-care is an act of self-love and compassion that promotes balance, happiness, and resilience in the long run.

3. Work-Life Balance

Balancing work and family life demands can be challenging. Our group explores strategies for achieving balance, setting boundaries, and managing stress effectively.

4. Emotional Well-being

Motherhood can bring many emotions, from joy and fulfillment to stress and anxiety. We provide a supportive space for discussing emotional well-being, coping mechanisms, and seeking professional support when needed.

5. Relationship Dynamics

Nurturing relationships with partners, family members, and friends is essential to motherhood. Our group explores healthy relationship dynamics, practical communication skills, and strategies for maintaining strong connections.

6. Identity and Fulfillment

Motherhood is just one part of our identity. We encourage discussions about personal goals, passions, and finding fulfillment outside parenting roles.

7. Self-Reflection and Goal Setting

Our support group for moms encourages self-reflection and goal setting to help moms identify their strengths, areas for growth, and personal aspirations. Setting achievable goals and celebrating milestones together can be incredibly motivating and uplifting.

UTAH FAMILY THERAPY'S UNFILTERED MISSION STATEMENT

Lets face it, who likes to talk about their crap with other people?

If you’re like most clients, you’re used to being judged despite hearing so many people talk about non judgment and when you do open up, it seems like the more you share, the less likely you are to get compassion.

We’ve worked our butts off to create a clinic where the unfiltered, real you, can show up and heal, so dammit give therapy a chance

We love the unfiltered real you, let’s heal together. – Utah Family Therapy Team
