What You'll Learn About Haylee Heyn

Haylee Heyn Counseling Anxiety & Depression

With the rise in mental health issues among teens (anxiety and depression being at the top), Haylee feels a genuine connection with these individuals.

Her experience working with teens has opened the doors to healing for the young lady and young man that feels life is hopeless.

Anxiety and depression can feel overwhelming and impossible at times. Haylee is passionate about connecting with the teens she works with and loves the energy that they bring to the room.

In her therapy, she provides teens with tools and guidance to live a fulfilling life. She helps them build confidence in who they are.

The age of adolescence is a time of learning to navigate everyday challenges and working to move into the next stage of life successfully. It’s never too early to seek help.

Therapy for Men and Women

When Haylee first started practicing therapy, she did not realize that she would also love working with adult men and women struggling with anxiety and depression.

As Haylee worked with men and women struggling with anxiety and depression, it ignited a passion that she didn’t realize she had. Now Haylee helps people connect and improve their relationships with family, friends and loved ones.

Since getting her license, Haylee has had many years of experience as a therapist and loves it.

Women's Group

Haylee brings this same sense of love, compassion, and safety to her groups and facilitates the women’s group at Utah Family Therapy

She helps the women’s psychotherapy group fight the distresses that come from anxiety, depression, and other women’s issues. If you would like to join the women’s group, please let Utah Family Therapy know.

Words of Wisdom

“After relentlessly watching Frozen with my three-year-old daughter when it first came out, I started noticing the wisdom that this sweet Disney movie had to offer.

Quoting the trolls singing, “People make bad choices when they are mad or scared or stressed, but throw a little love their way, and you will bring out their best.

I have found through my experiences and many years of doing therapy, that using a loving approach is the best way to help people achieve this goal.

I am very passionate about helping individuals, couples and families bring out their best, and help everyone to feel great about who they are and whom he or she wants to be.

Unfortunately, life, often, has a way of throwing a lot of stressful things at you, sometimes you experience hurt and trauma. You may feel bound by addictive behaviors.

Facing a world of challenges and insecurities in your relationships; or experiencing what seems like more anxiety or depression than you can handle.

What I have found is that everyone has a story, and whether you respond with anger, or whether you live your life in fear, you have great potential.

You can live the life you desire to live and bring out the best in yourself.”

Haylee's Expertise

Lets face it, who likes to talk about their crap with other people?

If you’re like most clients, you’re used to being judged despite hearing so many people talk about non judgment and when you do open up, it seems like the more you share, the less likely you are to get compassion.

We’ve worked our butts off to create a clinic where the unfiltered, real you, can show up and heal, so dammit give therapy a chance

We love the unfiltered real you, let’s heal together. – Utah Family Therapy Team
