Utah Family Therapy's Online Adult IOP Program
Our Online IOP Program endeavors to provide in-depth treatment for all eligible clients.
It is designed to offer support for those who need more help than weekly therapy sessions or step-down support for those coming from Day Treatment or Inpatient Residential Treatment levels of care.
This online program offers the ability to get in-depth support for those unable to come to in-person treatment programs.

Mental Health Online IOP Program
We are a Mental Health IOP (not substance abuse); however, we can treat clients struggling with substance abuse depending on the need (dual diagnosis.)
We use a Trauma-Informed Care treatment approach and recognize the presence of trauma symptoms and the role trauma plays in all mental health challenges.
We use proven trauma-informed modalities to help clients learn to recognize and manage these symptoms healthily. Specially trained therapists run all Online Groups.
We also believe in an integrative Systems approach and include Individual and Family Therapy Sessions when applicable to our program.
Treatment Approach
Treatment Approach/Modalities: In our Online IOP Program, we use research-based interventions proven beneficial in treating trauma and mental health challenges.
Our primary modalities are:
Length of Program
How long is the program? We are a client-centered program. Therefore, we are NOT a set “cohort” style program where everyone starts and ends simultaneously. We recognize that every client is unique and has their journey.
However, research has proven that lasting benefit is most likely achieved after at least 12 weeks of therapeutic effort. Therefore, we do ask for at least a 12-week commitment.
Clients usually are in the Online IOP Program between 12-16 weeks.
We are not the type of program that has everyone working through a set manual–we adapt to the needs of our current group members and tailor the treatment to meet their needs best.

Funding
*Although we recognize that most clients will want to use insurance benefits, just like with all our services, you are ultimately responsible for paying for your treatment whether insurance pays or not.
Out-of-Network Insurance: We are in-network for IOP Services with many insurance companies. All other companies will be processed as out-of-network unless the client can secure a Single Case Agreement (SCA).
What is a Single Case Agreement? Single Case Agreement means that the insurance company contracts to pay for IOP services at the in-network rate for that specific client.
You arranges this by contacting your insurance company, requesting an SCA, and then proving that you cannot receive similar services at an in-network facility within a specific time frame and/or distance from your house (these requirements differ between insurance companies)
Self-Pay: There are three options for self-pay:
A) Pay the self-pay rate of $200/session. Charged at time of service.
B) Pay for four weeks upfront for a reduced rate of $2800. (Which is $175/session)
C) Pay for 12 weeks upfront for a reduced rate of $8000 (Which is $166/session)
*These upfront rates of $2800 and $8000 include one individual or family session per week.
Third-Party Funding: We can bill a third party (i.e., a Bishop or family member) for all services, including the Online IOP Program but require a financial agreement to be signed by them.
We care greatly about our clients and do all we can to offer the support you need. If you choose to use our Online IOP Program, we look forward to supporting you on your journey.
