My Journey

Taylor’s path into mental health work was deeply shaped by personal experiences with anxiety and panic disorder.

Prior to entering the mental health field, Taylor worked in financial services and in the technology sector.

After stepping away from academic and career goals for a period of healing and self-reflection, Taylor rediscovered a passion for helping others facing similar struggles.

Taylor earned a degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University and is currently completing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Utah Valley University.

Taylor is especially interested in working with young adults and new parents as they navigate life transitions, stress, and relationship challenges.

Clinical interests also include depression, anxiety, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and panic disorder.

UTAH FAMILY THERAPY'S UNFILTERED MISSION STATEMENT

Lets face it, who likes to talk about their crap with other people?

If you’re like most clients, you’re used to being judged despite hearing so many people talk about non judgment and when you do open up, it seems like the more you share, the less likely you are to get compassion.

We’ve worked our butts off to create a clinic where the unfiltered, real you, can show up and heal, so dammit give therapy a chance

We love the unfiltered real you, let’s heal together. – Utah Family Therapy Team
